Dear John,
Thanks for the best Sarasota Coptic Conference that I have ever attended. Being in a new place and a thing or two which did not work as planned could not stop the success of this conference. I am sure that all must have been touched in a very constructive and positive way! The speakers were just great. |
| And a special applause for those Coptic workers who do all the leg and finger work. Their level of frustration may mount as things do not come up to their idea of perfection but their committment to the work keeps them loyal and the end product seems to be just right each time. |
| I was so surprised when you placed the little ankh in my hand at the final ceremony. I will treasure it! I put it under my pillow last night to recapture the day as I drifted off. |
| And thanks again for offering these high quality conferences for the price of a Love offering. Not everyone can afford these expensive conferences that I hear about. You are doing a very great service to Lightworkers who often have had problems living in this economy- I am one of them. And what about those who are starting to awaken and are testing the water with one toe- not really able to commit to a high budget program? Then, there are the many who come that are well able to afford the expensive conferences, yet still value the Coptic Conferences above the others. Thanks you for not considering your message to be only for some imagined elite. It is for us all. Some may not hear it this time around, but the information may lie dormant within and be tweeked at a later time. I felt the presence of many more than usual Spirits in the room who were there to lift each person up as much as they could tolerate. |

| I first happened upon the Coptic Fellowship by accident (if you believe in that sort of thing!). A friend asked if I'd like to attend a 'conference' and I did. I was so impressed with the people, not just the presenters but everyone in attendance. |
| I didn't meet anyone who wasn't genuinely loving and respectful the entire weekend. |
| I felt like I had stepped out of time and into a sort of 'magical' peaceful place. I came home so moved by that event that I went on to become a Coptic Teacher and Minister. The Coptic Center hadn't been 'born' yet, if you are in the Grand Rapids area, it's a lovely place to visit and you might just feel like your 'family' is there. |

| I met Denise Iwaniw, a Coptic Minister, after a loss in my family. Through working with Denise and the Coptic Fellowship I have been able to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. |
| In the Coptic Fellowship whether during World Service Order, Teacher Training or now in the Ministerial Program I feel welcomed, supported and loved. The Coptic Fellowship has allowed me to learn, grow and expand my possibilities to whatever I desire to create in a safe environment where all beliefs are accepted and honored. Now serving during the Sunday Series and through workshops I find a outlet for my endeavors that continues to assist in my conscious awareness and spiritual growth". |
| Blessed to be a Coptic. |

| Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem |
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway. |
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway. |
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway. |
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway. |
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway. |
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway. |
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway. |
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway. |
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway. |
